Project Summary

Considering the high target affinity between Metropotam (going out and leisure recommendations guide) and Discovery network channels, we increased TV ratings through a smart, informal and fun campaign on metropotam.ro.

Concept

Discovery.metropotam.ro - a microsite designed to bring certain Discovery shows closer to the public, in an interesting and attractive format. TV stories were associated with target's own lifestyle, urban myths and behaviour stereotypes in the "urban jungle".

Effects

The project generated up to 26% increase in TV ratings for the promoted shows vs. 5% total station growth on Discovery Channel and 39% growth in prime time Animal Planet vs. 15% total station.
